The National Guard held its Pumpkin Trail fundraiser and canned food donation drive Friday night. Costumed parents and kids brought non-perishable food items in exchange for tickets for the games.
Coloring tables attracted the young and old alike. The evening also featured a cakewalk, bean bag toss, face painting and other kid-friendly games.
By mid-evening, the armory had collected two and a half barrels full of food donations for the Winnemucca Food Bank. Volunteers hoped to bring that total to three barrels by the end of the night.
