Appreciation expressed to Interim Administrator Darlene Bryan

It was a job she has never asked for. But Darlene Bryan has done the duties of interim hospital administrator to the best of her ability — on more than one occasion. She’s grateful to have her most recent 10-month stint as interim administrator completed.

Bryan loves her job as head of nursing at Humboldt General Hospital. Doing her regular duties as well as trying to fill in for a missing administrator has been a challenge.

Hospital board members expressed their appreciation to Bryan during the first board meeting with new hospital administrator Art Frable. All agreed they’re happy to see a new full-time administrator in place.

“We really appreciate everything you have done,” hospital board chair JoAnn Casalez told Bryan. Casalez also expressed the board’s appreciation to the staff of the hospital for everyone stepping up during the interim.

The plaque reads: “Thank you, Darlene Bryan, for providing a net of security, reassurance and especially compassion. You are a special nurse, a special administrator and a special person for stepping forward when we needed you most.”

Bryan said that keeping everything running smoothly was only possible because of the dedicated work of all the hospital staff.
