Word on the Street: Battle Mountain residents give their opinions

Word on the Street is a new weekly segment where we ask readers for their opinions on topics important to them. This week's Word on the Street comes from Battle Mountain, where we asked: "What are your plans for the Halloween holiday?"

Wendy and Ed Naveran:

“We usually stay home, hand out candy and have some friends over. Halloween is in the middle of the week this year so were not doing too much.”

Natividad Camacho:

“We are going to do the business trick or treating and then we will do the other things offered around town. It is just easier for the kids to trick or treat during those events”

Russ Klein:

“Football playoffs, If the girls make soccer, so sports playoffs. I won't even be in town for Halloween. So [for] the holiday period I will be following our sports teams during the playoffs.”
