The Humboldt Sun has an exciting new project and we’re excited to ask local businesses, clubs, churches and nonprofits to join us in making it a success! Our 2018 Community Photo Calendar is set to be distributed free just before Christmas.
Currently, ad sales are underway, but there are still premium positions available. There have been nearly four dozen photos submitted for the photo contest. The cover and each of the months will have a winning local photo featured, along with local advertising and community messages.
This calendar is the perfect place to feature a month-long message in front of thousands of locals. If your organization is interested in placing an inexpensive message, contact Advertising Manager Rhonda Coleman at: r.coleman@winnemuccapublishing.net.

The Community Photo Calendar is a fun new idea from Winnemucca Publishing General Manager Matt Dierlam. “This area is so beautiful, and I knew that photos of the scenery, people and events would make a great calendar,” he said. “I’m pleased with how this project is coming together, and I know it will be something Humboldt County residents will hang on their walls with pride all year long.”
