Although Pershing County did not get a shot in the net, it played an aggressive match against Dayton.
“The game was fast and displayed non-stop competition between the two teams,” said Eva Matuszyk, assistant coach. “Lizzie Rosas, Kyle’ Tupa, and Ana Parades had great runs. Our defense played a tough game and held their own.”
With four minutes left in the game, Dayton powered a 25-yard shot with enough height to slam Pershing goalie, Cassidy Burke.
“But even after Dayton’s goal the Lady Mustangs gave their all until the last whistle,” said Matuszyk.
