The Battle Mountain High School girls golf team finished second in its final regular season meet this past Thursday in Round Mountain.
The Lady Longhorns shot 444 as a team. Lynzee Devlin broke 100 for the first time in her high school career and finished third overall with a round of 98.
Savannah Gunther tied for fifth place after shooting 113, Kennedy Soule carded a 115 and Adriana Robles and Adriene Burkhart shot scores of 118 and 126, respectively. Myriah Watts rounded out the scores with a 126.
“We shot our best team score of the year and Lynzee broke the 100 mark for the first time in her career,” said BMHS coach Roger Wallock. “I am very excited with the amount of improvement this team has shown this year.”
Battle Mountain participated in the NIAA 2A State Champions at Toana Vista Golf Course in West Wendover on Monday and Tuesday.
