Holiday season brings many opportunities for giving back to the community. Here are a few ways residents can spread the joy and love.

Winners Inn Casino will have a Project Santa Giving Tree. Anyone wanting to add a child’s name to the tree can apply through the Frontier Community Action Agency (FCAA) by Dec. 1. The deadline for donating gifts for Christmas distribution is Dec. 13. Call Winners Inn Casino (775-623-2511) or FCAA (775-623-9003) for more information.

FCAA is also holding a “Christmas for Teens” gift card drive. FCAA may also have information about more specific needs for Humboldt County teens.
