Jean Estelle Ferraro Elges left this earth Oct. 27, 2017.
She was born in Paradise Valley, Nevada April 29, 1937 to John Ferraro and Ella Wright Ferraro. Jean lived on the Ferraro Ranch until she married Ray Elges in 1955 in Winnemucca, NV where they made their home.
Jean was a wife and mother, loved to hunt, fish, go camping with friends and family, do crossword puzzles, travel and was a Pink Lady at Poke & Peek for many years.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Robert (Bob) Ferraro and her husband Ray.
Jean is survived by her daughter Sheri Elges Krell (Bryon) of Winnemucca, NV, her son Gary Elges (Tammie) of Reno, NV, brother Stephen Ferraro (Mildred) of Paradise Valley, NV, grandsons Zach Metzler of Sprink Creek, NV, Lukus Elges (Melissa) of Reno, NV, granddaughters Kayla Metzler McKinnon of Winnemucca, NV, Alyssa Elges of Winnemucca, NV, great granddaughter Sienna McKinnon. Jean is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jean will be remembered for her love of the outdoors, her love of dancing and being a Pink Lady.
There will be a family celebration of life at a later date.
