The Lowry High School cross country team travels to Sparks on Saturday for the NIAA 3A State Championships.

The Buckaroos  have three boys running, including Will Kracaw, Robert Rangel and Hunter Albisu.

"The boys ran a great race at the regional," said LHS coach Kathy Norcutt. "We were right on the tail of Elko to qualify. I was happy for Hunter making it to state as a senior. He has worked hard. Will and Robert ran great races as well."

The boys race starts at 10:30 a.m. at Shadow Mountain Park next to Reed High School.

Becca Kuskie is running in her third state meet at 12:40 p.m. The junior finished second at the regional championships.

"Becca is just going to let it go and go for it," Norcutt said. "She is running on the same course and learned from the regional race."
