The PCHS Cheerleaders painted kid's faces every color of the rainbow. Cotton candy melted in countless mouths. The Friends of the Library (FOL) hosted their thirty-ninth annual Christmas craft fair on Saturday.

Santa posed for pictures with lapfuls of children. Shoppers jostled against friends they hadn't seen in awhile.

The tradition launched Lovelock's holiday season.

This year the activity spilled from the Community Center to the Train Depot. For the first time, both sites welcomed shoppers.

"We had twenty-eight booths, and most of them had good sales," said Kathie Brinkerhoff, library director. "I look forward to the fair every year, and I think others do too. It's a chance to see what people are doing with their time and talents."
