On Nov. 29, NHP arrested Gary Mortensen, age 34, a passenger in a fatal accident on I-80 between Winnemucca and Battle Mountain. Mortensen was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, two counts of possession of a drug not to be introduced into interstate commerce, two counts of transporting a controlled substance, level three trafficking, and two counts of possession with intent to sell and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail set at $347,920.
