Lowry's Alia Novi battles for control of the ball alongside Churchill County's Yasmien Laceste in the Lady Bucks match with the Greenwave on Saturday in Winnemucca.
A week after dropping a 1-0 contest to Fernley on the road, the Lowry High School girls soccer team got off to another slow start against Churchill County this past Saturday in Winnemucca to close out the first half of the Northern 3A East conference. The Greenwave scored a pair of first-half goals and held on for a 4-2 win. The first goal came in the seventh minute and the second came with five minutes left in the first half.
