David Arvell Hutchinson was born to Carol Josephine Seibert and Norman Arvell Hutchinson in Reno, Nevada on August 1, 1953, where he joined sisters Connie and Kerry at home, and later joined by sister Laurel.
His parents later divorced, and his mother left Nevada as her new husband was in the military.
David and sister Kerry stayed in Reno with their Dad. During this time sisters Andrea, Laurel and brother Derrick moved to Montana with their mother.
Many years later sister Eren was born.
While growing up, David spent many hours in the garage his Dad owned learning how to repair and maintain diesel trucks.
Later learning how to drive them to make deliveries. During this time he developed love and respect for the trucks he worked on and drove.
After graduation from high school, he joined the Nevada Air National Guard.
With the hope to learn airplane engines, used in Viet Nam.
After he was discharged he was back in Reno and he went to work with his brother in law, as an iron worker.
Many times he would point out a bridge or building he helped to build. Over the years, he worked various jobs doing various duties.
Everything from repairing farming equipment to explosives, on mine sites, to repairing equipment, to driving trucks hauling materials to and from mine sites.
His favorite job was driving truck hauling equipment for different entertainers.
He passed away peacefully on April 25, 2025, doing what he loved the best. Driving for an entertainer, in Arlington Texas.
Dave was preceded in death by his mother Carol Turner, step-father Stacey Turner, father Norman Hutchinson, grandparents Hyrum and Norma Hutchinson, grandmother Neva Seibert, and his infant daughter Miriam Hutchinson.
He is survived by his wife, Ditha, Children, Jeffry (Cora), Bryan, Kacey (Heather), Bryce
(Megan), Matthew (Samantha) and Isaac. Step children, Garrett (Angelica) DeSart. Andrea Fetterly (Ron), Beau DeSart (Kammy McFarland), Grandchildren, Domenic, Taylor, Moriah,
Mateo, Caden Smith, Bailey Fetterly, Savanna DeSart, Addson Fetterly. Sisters, Connie Hayes, Kerry Moss (Zan), Laurel (Dennis) Ackerman, Andrea (Russell) Rainer, Eren Turner, and brother Derek Turner.
Many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be held at the Word of Light Fellowship located at 4505 Center Street on July 11 at 10:00 am. Burial to follow at the Winnemucca Cemetery.
