In Loving Memory of Bruce Rodriguez
Bruce Rodriguez, 43, passed away unexpectedly on June 8, 2025.
He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to his family and friends.
Born on December 19, 1981, in Winnemucca, Nevada, to his beloved parents Miguel and Rosa Rodriguez, Bruce grew up surrounded by the warmth of his close-knit family, including his three brothers, Miguel, Adolfo, and Jose Luis, and his sister, Silvia.
Bruce attended school in Winnemucca from childhood through high school, forming lifelong friendships and building a life filled with hard work and generosity.
He was blessed with two beautiful children, Diana and Isaac Rodriguez, whom he cherished with all his heart.
They were the center of his world, and every moment spent with them was filled with love and laughter.
A hardworking man, Bruce dedicated himself to various jobs over the years, including working at Florida Canyon Mine for several years, construction, and spending time in Las Vegas applying his skills in the construction industry.
He was a true handyman — there was nothing he couldn’t fix. Whether it was a broken appliance, a complicated repair, or a simple task for a loved one, he was always willing to help.
Beyond his work, Bruce was an exceptional cook, taking pride in hosting and cooking large meals for his big family and friends.
He loved spending time with his girlfriend Linda who he loved dearly and could not live without.
He grew up fishing, with his siblings and went on countless fishing trips with his dad.
Something most people did not know about him was his love for books and reading.
Bruce had a way with words, always speaking his mind and never holding back.
His honesty, humor, generosity, and love made him the person people turned to for help and laughter.
He filled every room with his energy, leaving behind memories that will be cherished forever.
Bruce is survived by his loving parents, Miguel and Rosa Rodriguez, his siblings , his son Isaac, his girlfriend Linda, nieces Viviana, Tessa, Nayleah,Nephews Darian DeAndre and Emitt and numerous family members whom he adored.
He is preceded in death by his beautiful daughter Diana, with whom he will now rest in eternal peace.
A viewing will be held on **Tuesday, June 24th, 2025**, from **6 to 8 PM** at **Sonoma Funeral Home**.
Services will be on **Wednesday, June 25th, 2025**, at **St. Paul’s Catholic Church**, located at **350 Malarkey Street, Winnemucca, NV 89445**.
The **Rosary will begin at 10:30 AM**, followed by **Mass at 11 AM**. Burial will take place at **12 PM** at the **Winnemucca Cemetery**.
A food reception will follow at **Winnemucca City Park from 2 to 4 PM**.
Bruce was deeply loved and will be missed beyond words. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate to know him.
