She is Survived by The Love of her life John Locke, her son Evan Locke and Daughter Tracy Cuilty.
She has 5 grand children Taylor, Owen, Carolyn, Kevin and Jacklynn. 1 Great grandson Benson.
Nell and John had retired in Roseburg Oregon with all their children and grandchildren over the last 20 years living on their farm.
Nell lived an incredible life. From growing up as a child at Big Creek Ranch in Denio, NV, and graduating high school in Lovelock.
Her first 20 years were filled with the hardships and joy of the Nevada country. She married John Locke after high school and this led her to Los Angelos California as her husband went to study at Children’s Hospital.
The Locke family spent the next 25 years living in San Marino watching their  children grow up.
Her passion in life was her ultimate dedication to her family and raising her children.
One of her strongest attributes was her strength and will to accomplish what ever was in her sights.
Her physical strength in hiking a mountain or farm work was truly remarkable. She was an inspiration to her children in countless ways.
Her skill of design both in the home or in the yard were preformed at a professional level.
She also shared a passion for the outdoors with her family throughout the years. From hunting Mule deer in Beatys Butte over her life time, flying into California hunting units that where mule packed only, and successfully harvesting her Elk in Chesnimnus Unit in Oregon at the age of 64.
She was an incredible marksman. At a young age she realized a mountain lion was stalking  the same buck she was and she successfully harvested both of them.
She had the pleasure of traveling the world but her greatest joy in life was living in Denio, NV as a young wife and new mom with her husband and mom and dad. Living off the land and raising her babies.
Nell and John lived a truly beautiful life together. God Bless you mama. You will be deeply missed.
