Robery Bob Meckley Sr.

Robert (Bob) Meckley Sr. went to be with the heavenly father at the South Lyon long-term care facility in Yerington, NV on August 2nd, 2024.
Bob was a member of the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
He enjoyed square dancing with his wife where they attended many local events. He was an avid bowler and spent his free time at the bowling alley where he met and socialized with friends.
He enjoyed yard work and helping others where needed.
He worked for Pegasus Gold for 27 years as a Lab Technician.
He was a volunteer for rsvp where he transported clients to their Dr. appointments.
He is survived by Elizabeth Meckley (spouse) Sister(s) Novella Yancey (Jim), Loretta Blacksmith (Roy), Shirley Dawson (Raymond), Brother(s) Walter Meckley (Charlotte), Paul Meckley, Children Tina Schultz (Randell), Debbie Ames, Robert Meckley Jr., Melinda Roeder (Jacob), Grandchildren, Thomas Ames, Trevor Ames, Tanner Ames (Ali), Tyler Ames, Dusty Meckley, Jacey Roeder, Natalie Roeder and many nieces and nephews.
He is proceeded in death by Ida and Walter Wright, Mary Tedrick and Elroy Meckley.
Funeral services will be held on September 28th at 4:00pm at the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints located at 111 W. McArthur Ave. Winnemucca, NV. 89445.
