Damon Edan Stein passed away on September 30, 2024, at his home in Winnemucca, Nevada.
He was born on March 7, 1975, in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
He was the oldest of six children.
He grew up in Albuquerque and graduated from Eldorado High School in 1993.
He worked for California Industrial Rubber for 4 years as a conveyor vulcanizing technician.
He moved to Winnemucca when he was 29 years old and made it his home. He worked for Nevada Gold Mines as a heavy equipment operator.
He enjoyed hunting, bodybuilding, fishing, rafting and fatherhood.
He had an infectious laugh and disarming smile.
Damon was a very kindhearted man that would help anyone that he could. Most of all he cared about his friends, family, and the great outdoors.
He was always up for an adventure and always made it a goal to keep smiles on everyone around him. He loved being a father and grandfather.
He was an old soul with a huge heart, he was very loved and will be missed dearly by all.
He is survived by his daughters, Zoe Jane Stein, Courtney Beth Conver and Chelsea Brianne Eldridge and granddaughter, Emberly Grace Conver.
His parents, Carl and Ann Marie Stein and Lee Stein.
His brothers, Jesse Stein, Anthony Moon, Alexander Mood and Christian Stein and his sister, Makayla Victoria Stein.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bonde Scovil and Charlene Boulware.
