Betty Lage

January 16, 1931 - May 12, 2024

Betty Lage passed away on May 12, 2024, at her home in Winnemucca, Nevada. She was born on January 16, 1931, in East Ely, Nevada to Harvey and Beth Larsen.
Betty lived in many places in Nevada while her husband traveled as miner. She was a wonderful homemaker and took care of her children.
She belonged to the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, reading and genealogy.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Lage, her parents, Bob and Beth Larsen and her brother, Dallas and her sister, Fancine Littledyke and her daughter, Deborah L. Johanson.
She is survived by Her sons, Robert Lage, John M Lage, and daughter Marta Lage. Grandchildren: Yvette Allen, Stacie Johanson, Darcie Johanson, James Lage, Jeremy Lage, Cretia Guzman, Eric Lage, Ashley Tarter and 5 step-grandchildren. Great-grandchildren; Matthew Reyes, Coty Allen, Mekeyla Allen, Kristian Prieto, Spencer Lage, Aurora Lage, Maddox Lage, Christine Reulas, Dominic Garcia and Camilla Bermudez. And her brother, Jesse Larsen.
The family would like to thank the Bishop and Relief Society and Guiding Light Hospice.
Betty was buried next to her husband, Bill at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Fernley, Nevada on May 21, 2024, at 1:00 pm.
There will be a Memorial Service on June 8, 2024 at 10:00 am at the Church of Jesus of the Latter-Day Saints 111 W McArthur Ave, Winnemucca, NV.
