Deanna Berene Jones

April 17, 1939 - April 19, 2024

Deanna Berene Jones, aged 85, from Winnemucca, Nevada passed away on April 19, 2024.
Deanna was born on April 17, 1939, in Pioche, Nevada, to James and Berene Hulse. She was the fifth of seven children.
Deanna spent her childhood in Pioche and later met Claude Jones in 1957, whom she married soon after.
They had four children together: Stan, Janeece, Kerry and Russell, and were married for nearly 40 years.
After their youngest child was born, the family moved to Kellogg, Idaho, where they lived for thirteen years before moving to Imlay, Nevada.
Deanna spent her last twelve years in Winnemucca, Nevada.
She worked at several restaurants throughout her life. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, sewing and baking.
She was a loyal fan of the Chicago Cubs and Seattle Seahawks. Deanna loved following her favorite sports teams and enjoyed growing roses.
Deana’s family and friend will deeply miss her. She had a great sense of humor and wit that will always be remembered.
Deanna was preceded in death by her parents, four siblings, her husband Claude, son Stanley, and grandson Wesley.
She is survived by her children, Janeece Jones, Kerry Schulz (Kent) and Russell Jones (Yvette), six grand children and ten great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on July 13, 2024 at 1 p.m. art the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Winnemucca, Nevada.
