Camma Dawn Marvel

Camma Dawn Marvel, born on October 11, 1965, in Reno, Nevada, passed away on November 18, 2024, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Camma's life was a testament to resilience, love, and the joy of music, which she embraced as a beautiful singer, believing it to be the speech of angels. Camma was a fifth generation proud Nevadan who spent most of her life in Winnemucca and Paradise, where she cultivated a deep love for her family and the simple pleasures of life, such as arrowhead hunting. Her family was the center of her world, and she cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. Oscar Romero

Oscar Romero passed away on December 12, 2024, at his home in Winnemucca, Nevada. He was born on July 16, 1933, in Crystal City, Texas to Arturo and Sofia Romero. He grew up with his four siblings. Oscar married his wife, Marta on March 11, 1956. They were together for 67 years before her passing in 2023. They shared six children together, Juan “John”, Patricia “Patsy”, Margie, Rachel, Linda and Anna Rebecca. He worked in agriculture all his life; it took him to several states. Eventually landing his family in Ontario, Oregon. In 1979, he moved his family to Winnemucca, Nevada. He worked for Winnemucca Farms until he was injured. He was a member of the Catholic Church in Oregon and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and hunting in his early years. He would help his wife with her gardening and enjoyed planting his own tomatoes, peppers …

Smith James Keller

On December 8th, we lost our bright young son to a quiet battle with depression. Smith James Keller left us at the age of 23. He was born on March 8th 2001 in Winnemucca Nevada to Nick and Kristine Keller. He was also a big brother and best friend to Drake Keller. Smith graduated from Lowry High School in 2018. Smith lived his life in Winnemucca Nevada. Smith worked as a mechanic in the mining industry across Nevada. He worked for Cyanco early in his career and then moved onto the underground mines. These included TR underground (for NGM, SMD and later for Empire Caterpillar). At work Smith was known for his impeccable work ethic and constant pursuit of improvement. He was driven to perform at his best. His coworkers would call him “peacock” when he would get a job done in good fashion then strut a bit. Off the …

Tammy Jean Moll

Tammy Jean Moll passed away on December 7, 2024, at her home in Winnemucca, Nevada. She was born on October 11, 1958, in Washington State. She had two sons, Robert and Rocky. In 2001, Tammy married Richard F. Moll Jr. The two shared 23 years together. Tammy enjoyed sewing and horseback riding. She is survived by her husband, Richard and her son, Robbie. She is preceded in death by her son, Rocky. A Memorial Service for Tammy will be held on December 19th at 2:00 pm at Sonoma Funeral Home in Winnemucca, Nevada.

Everett Benedict Bradley Jr.

Everett Benedict Bradley, Jr. passed away in Fallon, Nevada on November 25, 2024, at the age of 78. Born January 3, 1946, in Orangevale, California to parents Everett and Agusta Baker Bradley, Everett was known to his family as “Bennie.” As a child, Everett visited the brand-new Disneyland with his grandparents, became the yo-yo champion of his elementary school, and played the trombone in high school. Prone to sneaking off to smoke and drink Coca-Cola, Everett was often a trial to his parents. A man always mechanically inclined, Everett completed his automotive mechanic apprenticeship in 1970 and his machinist apprenticeship before an honorable discharge from the Army National Guard in 1971. Afterward, he permanently moved to Nevada, living first in Yerington, Silver Springs and then Fallon, where he worked at Fallon Ford and Napa, before finally settling in Austin, where he retired from the NDOT highway maintenance crew in 2014. …

Florine Anna Moon

In Loving Memory of Florine Anna Moon (November 4, 1939 – December 8, 2024) Florine Anna Moon entered the world on February 4, 1939, in Raton, NM, and peacefully passed away on December 8, 2024, in Trinidad, CO at the Legacy. She was the first child of Estel and Hesper Garrett and was raised in Raton alongside her two brothers. In Raton, she met her first husband, Andy Horner, with whom she had three children who will forever cherish her memory. Florine began her career as a grocery clerk at City Market in Raton, where she created lasting memories and friendships over many years of dedicated service. In 1978, she relocated to Winnemucca, NV, continuing her career at Raley’s Grocery, where she received numerous awards for her hard work and commitment. Georgetta Hubbard

Georgetta Hubbard passed away on December 3, 2024, in Winnemucca, Nevada. She was born on April 27, 1959, in Kentucky to James and Dorothy Hubbard. She enjoyed going to the lake every summer. She loved being with her grandbabies and hanging out with her family. She was a great mother and grandma. She loved her family very much and she will be missed dearly. She is survived by her partner, Norman Jernberg. Her children, Jospeh (Stacie) Jernberg, Zachery (Alicia) Jernberg, Jeffrey Graham and Gregory Hubbard. Her grandchildren, Tyler, Jack, Noah, Naomi, Robin and Eli. As well as her siblings, Donald Hubbard, Tommy Hubbard, Richard Hubbard, Danny Hubbard, Barbara Bowen and Sandra Kasner. She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Dorothy Hubbard and siblings, Jimmy Hubbard, Jerry Hubbard, Wanda Hubbard and Linda Hubbard. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Paul Echeverria

Paul Echeverria, 88 of Lovelock, Nevada died peacefully at his home on November 16, 2024. Paul was born in Reno, Nevada on March 3, 1936 to Mateo and Kathleen Echeverria. He attended schools in Paradise Valley, Tungsten and Lovelock. He graduated from Pershing County High School in 1955. Paul enlisted into the U.S. Army in 1958 and served in Korea. He was awarded his mechanics badge, good conduct and marksmanship medals serving until 1961. Paul returned to Nevada and worked as a heavy equipment mechanic in mining with Nevada Massachusetts Tungsten Mine, Nevada Barth Iron Ore, Nevada Iron Ore, and retired from Eagle Picher mining and hauling in March of 2000. Paul was a member of Saint Johns Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting deer with his father, brothers, sons, grandson, and great grandsons.
