Eleanor Jeanne Lemaire

November 25, 1931 -

Eleanor Jeanne Lemaire was born November 25, 1931, in Battle Mountain, Nevada, to parents Louis E. and Eleanor Mollart Lemaire.
Jeanne loved the outdoors. She had many happy times with her family, including summer camping on the Humboldt River, fishing, and hunting.
She loved music, played the piano, organ, and clarinet, and sang with several choral groups.
Jeanne married her high school sweetheart, Sam Broyles.
Together they raised three children, first in Battle Mountain then moving to Fallon in 1963.
After the divorce, Jeanne went to work for CC Communications as a night telephone operator. She retired 10 years later as an Executive Assistant.
She met Robert Ansotegui at his business, Builders Supply. They married and spent much of their 42 years together, traveling, fishing, camping, and visiting family.
Sometimes these activities happened all at the same time.
Jeanne’s greatest joy was family.
Two blended families of children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews received her love and kindness.
They filled her world.
Jeanne is survived by her brother Louis M. (Salle) Lemaire, their children, and their families.
Also surviving are her children Suzette Hughes, Sam (Catherine) Broyles, Lynn Broyles, Lynn’s children: Tyler and Trever (Natalie) Detomasi, and great-granddaughter and namesake Eleanor Avery Detomasi, along with Tyler and Trever’s half-brother Aaron (Tricia) Detomasi and their children. She is survived by Bob’s children Sandra (Bob) Nelson, Steve (Mary) Ansotegui, and Mike Ansotegui as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and extended families.
Jeanne’s last days were spent surrounded by family.
She died on July 4th, 2024.
A Celebration of Life for Eleanor was held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 11 a.m. at The Gardens in Fallon, Nevada.
