Olga Moell passed away on March 22, 2024. She was born to Emery & Iona Jenks in Hague, North Dakota on July 9, 1936, she was the oldest of 6 children.
Olga met the love of her life, Frank, in 1955. They were married on December 17, 1955, and were never apart until Frank’s passing just a few weeks shy of their 67th anniversary.
They moved around the Dakota’s a lot early in their marriage due to Frank working construction.
After several years of enduring the cold weather of the Dakota’s, they moved to Chula Vista, California where they lived for several years until moving to Nevada.
They spent 14 years in Carson City, then moved to Lovelock for a short while before moving on to the Feather River Ranch in Loyalton, CA.
They also spent 2 years at the Cutler Ranch in Yerington, NV before finally settling in Fallon, where they lived out the remainder of their lives.
Olga was a stay-at-home mom. She was her kids and grandkids biggest supporter.
She spent several years on the Nevada rodeo circuit with Lisa and Laloni.
She rarely missed any of her grandkid’s sports or extracurricular events as they grew up. She was so very proud of her daughters and of all her grandchildren.
Olga is survived by her three daughters; Leann Moell of Ridgecrest, CA; Lila Moell of Lovelock, NV, and Lisa Moura (Anthony) of Lovelock, NV; 8 grandchildren; Laloni, Holly, Jerry, Donovan, Dylan, Megan, Daralyn, and Devin; and 5 great-grandchildren; Dakota, Dillon, Deegan, Hayden and Koda.
As well as her 5 siblings; Vashti Christlieb of Fargo, ND, Darrel Jenks (Diane) of Dayton, NV, Dave Jenks (Jan) of Alice, ND, Jim Jenks (Marlys) of El Cajon, CA and Terry Jenks of Enderlin, ND.
Olga didn’t like anyone to fuss over her, so it was her wish not to have a public funeral; therefore, there will be a private family gathering to celebrate her life.
