Sheri Anne Coston

September 3, 1956 - May 19, 2023

Sheri Anne Coston (or as she was more affectionately known Mumsy, Gamma, and Grandmama) passed away on May 19, 2023.
She was born September 3, 1956 at Saint Mary’s in Reno NV, and raised in Carson City NV. She met her loving husband Clifford Coston in Carson City NV in 1977 and they married later that year.
They raised their two daughters Emily and Arlene in Carson City before relocating to Winnemucca NV in 2000.
She spent most of her time doting on her grandchildren whom she loved and adored with her whole being.
She loved spending time with her family, holidays and special events were her favorite.
She loved making any celebration a big deal. Making people feel special was very important to her and she did it well.
She would do anything for anyone no questions asked, when she loved you, she loved you with her whole self. She will be greatly missed and her family will move forward doing their best to continue with her example.
She is preceded in death by her father David Turner and Mother Vee Smith, and her most beloved cousin and mother figure Adelaide Allred.
She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years Clifford Coston, her oldest daughter Emily Gonzalez and her husband Nick Ceballos, her youngest Arlene Gonzalez and her husband Rudy Gonzalez, step son Neal Coston and his wife Tracy Coston, and her brother Allen Nicholson.
Grandchildren Christopher Coston, Trent Rossman, Clifford Coston II, Nico Salgado and his wife Ashly Salgado, Ashley Salgado, Azucena Gonzalez, Leilani Gonzalez, and Tori Salgado. Great grandchildren Gabriel Kaapa, and Layla Salgado.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff at Harmony Manor. The level of care she received was excellent and often above and beyond the call of duty.
We also would like to thank her Oncology care team at Saint Mary’s for their care and support, especially her loving nurse Heather at Saint Mary’s for her comforting personality and being there for her during her time in Reno.
Services will be held at a later date.
