James Daniel Choate passed away on May 29, 2023, at his home in Winnemucca, Nevada.
He was born on April 17, 1957, in Las Vegas, Nevada to John and Jean Choate.
Jim spent his first 5 years in Las Vegas, Nevada and then moved to Winnemucca, where he would spend the rest of his life.
He graduated from Lowry High School. He worked for the Shell Station, Humboldt Drilling and Hycroft Mine and 20 years at Min-Ad.
He married Debbie on November 4, 1994. The two shared two children, Jimmy and Everett Choate and 28 and half years.
Jim enjoyed Fishing and hunting and picking on his loved ones.
He is survived by his wife, Debbie, his son, Everett, his grandchildren, Waylon Garfield, TaKayla Choate-Antonio, Joe Choate, and Jimmy Choate.
His great-grandchildren, Liam and Kayden Garfield, and he was looking forward to another great-grand in October.
He is also survived by his mother, Jean, sisters, Irene Kenney and Carol Higley, sister-in-law, sue Choate and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and great-nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, John, his brothers, Ricky and Richard Choate, his sister, DeeDee Bricky, his son, James and his nephew, Timmy and great-nephew, Colby.
