Richard Carl Wolters Jr. passed away on June 23, 2023.
He was born on January 26, 1971, in Pacoima, California to Richard Carl Wolters Sr. and Mary Loretta Parker.
Rick was born in Pacoima, California and moved to Oregon in 1971 after a devastating earthquake.
He attended Nazareth School of Roseburg for elementary school. In 1984, the family moved to Green River, Wyoming for his father’s work.
Rick attended junior high school and partial high school in Green River. After his father healed from an accident, the family moved once again to Battle Mountain, Nevada in the fall of 1988.
Rick graduated from Battle Mountain High School in 1989. After high school, he took courses in mining and started his career.
He worked union jobs in Millwright. He moved to various places doing this work including Texas and Arizona and various places in Nevada.
But he would always call Battle Mountain his home. He worked at TLC and Jerrit Canyon. He was also an MSHA and OSHA trainer with his father.
Rick married 4 times and had six amazing children, Richard III, Presley, Mary, Rebecca, Kailee, and Dwane.
He even went to beauty school so he could figure out how to style his daughter, Mary’s hair.
He was a Christian man. He was baptized in the Nazarene Church of Oregon in 1978. He attended the First Baptist and Fellowship Baptist in Battle Mountain.
Rick loved riding his motorcycle. He was a member of the Banditos MC and Sergeant at Arms. He enjoyed working on cars and anything music – he was a Rockstar – especially the air drums and air guitar!
He was a Green Bay Packers fan. Rick loved his kids and watching them in their sports.
He was known as “Karate Rick” to some, Hardcore to others and he even started introducing himself as “Rick but the P is Silent”.
He loved nicknames for himself and for others. You could even consider it a hobby of his. He was a jokester, and his laugh was loud, obnoxious and equally contagious.
He is survived by his wife, Stacey Lynn Beeson.
His children, Richard Wolters III, Presley Wolters, Mary Wolters, Rebecca Nelson, Kailee Wolters, and Dwane Wolters, and his grandson, Jeremiah Wolters.
He is also survived by his brothers, Forrest (LaDonna) Theuret, Bobby (Yolanda) Theuret and his sister, Kristi (Eric) Nelson, his nieces, Misti (tony) Del Rio, Katrina Palmer, Stacy (Nick) Brainard, Jillian Nelson, and Shannon McCain and his nephews Natthew (Ashlyn) Theuret, Johnathan Smith, Eric McCain and Vincent McCain and his great nieces and nephews, Briannah Davis, Nash and Finley Brainard, Alyssa and Elijah Palmer and Reggie and Justin Del Rio.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard Sr. and Mary Wolters, his grandparents, Wilma Inez Tracy and Herold John Wolters and Elsie and Arichibald Parker. His brother, Claude “Bear” McCain and his niece and nephew, Timothy and Mickaela Smith.
