Julie Hughes

Julie Hughes passed away peacefully in Fallon, NV.
She was born in Lovelock, NV to Martin and Eunice (Brown) Rodriquez and was the second oldest of five siblings.
Growing up she attended Sherman Indian School in Riverside, CA.
She had four children and was married to Grady Hughes for more than a decade in her earlier life.
She worked at Eagle Pitcher Minerals for many years as a Leadman until she was diagnosed with silicosis.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She loved to travel, watching her favorite shows on bigfoot and ghost adventures.
She is survived by her siblings: Loretta Burden, Tony Rodriquez and Manual (Lila) Rodriquez. Children: Jackie (Edwin) Conway, Sasha Treadaway, LaCarrie (Ryan) Alvarez, and Kenneth Hughes. Grandchildren: Patricia, Micheal, Cedrick and Eric Conway, Chaz Losh, Taylor Dewey, Christopher Bagaforo, Delvon, Quincy and Marcus Rinde, Skyla Burden, Raven Garcia, Jeffrey and Nichole McCloud, Mekayla Hughes, Willow and Julie Alvarez, Gloria and Angelo Hughes. Great grandchildren: Zaiden, Zoey, Zariah Porras and Zavier Moran, Amyia, Chloe, and Jasmine Martinez, Aries Kane Conway, Maliyah Conway and Gabriel Dick.
Numerous nieces and nephews. She was pre-ceded in death by her parents Martin and Eunice Rodriquez and sibling Alvin Rodriquez.
Services are scheduled on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at the Lovelock Paiute Tribe Gymnasium with viewing at 10 a.m. and services beginning at 12 p.m.
The family would appreciate any side dishes or desserts for a potluck following the burial.
In remembrance of her please wear something orange as it was her favorite color.
