After losing three games at Yerington, the Battle Mountain High School softball team got back on the winning track with a three game sweep of North Tahoe in Tahoe City, Calif., last weekend.

BMHS Golfers second in West Wendover tournament

Coming off a narrow, five-shot victory over White Pine at the Ruby View Golf Course in Elko the prior week, the Battle Mountain High School team enjoyed another strong performance last Saturday, taking second at the tournament in West Wendover.

In Division III Northern series play against the Yerington Lions last weekend in Yerington, the Battle Mountain baseball team dropped three to start the season out 0-3 in League play, and 4-5 overall. 

BMHS Softball team swept in league opener

The Battle Mountain High School softball team lost a 12-11 heartbreaker to Yerington on Friday, and then two more Saturday to fall to 0-3 in Division III Northern league play. The team is 4-7 overall for the season so far.

The Battle Mountain High School softball team found it tough going last Friday in Wells. The Lady Bucks dropped a doubleheader to the Leopards, falling 11-5 and 13-6 to even their record at 4-4 on the season.
