The Battle Mountain Gold 13-14-year old baseball team braved the worst Mother Nature could throw at them this past Saturday in Winnemucca. After early-morning snow and rain left the area, Battle Mountain defeated Winnemucca 7-6 and lost to Fernley 10-0.
