WINNEMUCCA - The Lowry High School freshmen boys basketball team finished with three wins in four games at the Longhorn Invitational this past weekend in Battle Mountain.
WINNEMUCCA - The top two teams in the Winnemucca Pool League faced off in week 10 with no change at the top. Sand Dune Diggers defeated Rack Pack 9-8, but Rack Pack (8-2) still held on to first place with 110 out of a possible 170 points.

WACO, Texas - Eastern Oregon University wide receiver Jace Billingsley has been selected to the 2013 American Football Coaches Association (AFCA)-NAIA Coaches' All-America second team.Billingsley led the Mountaineers in receptions (69), receiving yards (820) and tied for the team lead with touchdown receptions (4).
