The Battle Mountain High School volleyball team said goodbye to its five seniors this past Thursday night, as it hosted West Wendover in the season finale for the Lady Longhorns. This past Friday night, the Pershing County High School football team hosted rival Battle Mountain for senior night. The important top spot in the Northern 2A was up for grabs as well and Pershing County won 34-7, to the delight of the home crowd to take control of the Northern 2A.
