Frederick Paul Velasquez passed away on August 18, 2015. Freddie is survived by his wife of 21 years Lynn Duncan, his mother Mathilde Reed, his daughter Paula Jean Velasquez, his grandson Bredon LeBlanc, his brother Richard Velasquez, and numerous other family members and friends, as well as many godsons and goddaughters, including his “special” godsons Jonathan “JJ” Mulligan and Dr. Rick Swecker. Freddie’s sister Micheline and his father Ernie preceded him in death.
Nancy Susan Wolff Thompson, 64, died at her home in Sparks, Nevada, on Thursday, August 13th, 2015, following a long battle with metastatic breast cancer. Nancy was born and raised in Dayton, Ohio, graduated from high school there in 1969 and from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, in 1973 with a cum laude degree in Journalism.

Antonia (Barinaga) Hooft, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2015 at Morningstar Senior Living in Sparks, Nevada, one day before her 94th birthday. She was born August 26, 1921 to Pablo and Estebana Barinaga in Golconda Nevada.
James Parker Swinney, 53, of Winnemucca, Nevada, died August 2, 2015, in his sleep. Jimmy was born August 22, 1961, in Santa Rosa, California, to Jim and Marian Swinney. Jimmy loved fishing, rock hunting, and visiting with his friends. His passion was making jewelry and beading.
On August 16, 2015 Douglas (Bud) Brooks passed away at his ranch in Lovelock, Nevada at the age of 87. He was comforted to the end with his loving wife, Ruth, at his side.

Edna Enola Fowler-Penola passed away peacefully on August 12, 2015. Edna was born November 26, 1924 in Bailey County, Texas to Orville and Dora Fowler. In 1937, following the Great Depression the Fowler Family moved to Fallon, Nevada to start their lives as farmers.
