Jenelle passed away peacefully at Saint Mary's Regional Medical Center of Reno, Nev., on Dec. 30, 2014, after her long fought battle with metastatic breast cancer. Her family, friends and endearing medical professionals will greatly miss her brilliant smile, kind heart and relentless sense of humor.

Catheryn Olive Wilson Wirthlin Miller passed away Dec. 31, 2014, at Banner Churchill Hospital in Fallon, Nev. She was born June 4, 1931, in Wichita, Kan., to Marie Wilson and Alvin Duckett. Cathy was raised by her grandparents Guy Wilson and Hallie Clinkenbeard. She moved to Payette, Idaho, during her teen years. Cathy married Lawrence Wirthlin on Dec. 25, 1952, in Winnemucca, Nev. Together they had three sons - Steven, Larry and Dennis - and made their home in Winnemucca. Lawrence passed away on Dec. 30, 1984. Cathy later married Alvin Miller in 1986 and he passed away in January 1989.
The Dallas Cowboys lost one of their greatest fans on Dec. 25, 2014, when Frank Cruz died after losing his battle with cancer. He loved his mother's homemade cooking, Budweiser beer, hunting, kicking butt in pool, fishing, barbecue ribs, chocolate cake, Dr. Pepper, football, his wife of 34 years, Tammy, and daughters, Jillian Cruz Baker and Jordyn Cruz - not necessarily in that order. John Wayne, Emmett Smith, Clint Eastwood, Marshall Matt Dillon and his father were his heroes. He was the hero to his granddaughters, Adisson and Peyton Baker.
John William Craspay Jr. passed away Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015. Services will be Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, at Lovelock Community Church at 11 a.m.
William "Bill" Emery Morrison, Jr., 66, of Valmy, Nev., passed away in the early hours of Dec. 29, 2014, in the arms of his wife Gayle, succumbing to heart failure.
Grace A. Kampf, 96, of Denver, Colo., and former Mosby and Winnett resident, died on Dec. 4, 2014, in Garden Terrace Nursing Center in Aurora, Colo., of natural causes.
James R. Anderson, 82, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014, at St. Mary's Hospital in Reno, Nev.
Wesley Jack Copeland, 54, died Dec. 31, 2014, in Winnemucca, Humboldt County, Nev. He was born May 10, 1960, in Eureka, Humboldt County, Calif., later living in Pendleton, Ore. Wes attended Pendleton High School and Blue Mountain Community College. He made a living in the logging and mining industry.
