Caroline "Cy" Rodrigues died peacefully in her home on March 14, 2012. She was the eldest of 10 children born to John and Caroline Aufdermaur in Lovelock on Nov. 13, 1930. Cy retired from Bishop Gorman High School after 25 years as the Comptroller. She spent her retirement years volunteering as a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church community and devoting her time to various ministries. She was active in the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, holding numerous offices for 50 years.
