Silver State average is $3.66 - no change from a month ago, says AAA

LAS VEGAS - After increases and volatility in fuel prices over the past several months, Nevadans are now taking a break from higher gas prices and paying relatively the same as a month ago, an average of  $3.66  per gallon of unleaded regular. While some metro areas show slight increases, other metro areas are showing a decrease in prices, according to the AAA Nevada monthly gas survey.  

State recycling rate reaches historic high

CARSON CITY - The Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (NDEP) reported a 2012 recycling rate of 28.8 percent, surpassing the state goal of 25 percent.

RENO - With Nevada's bird hunting seasons on the horizon, now is the time for hunters to register for their Harvest Information Program (HIP) validation number.
