Researcher trying to identify dinosaur fossil found outside Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS (AP) - A Nevada paleontologist said this week that he thinks apparent dinosaur bone fossils found at a state park about 20 miles west of the Las Vegas Strip could date to the late Triassic period and might be the oldest land animal ever found in the state.

RENO - The Nevada Cancer Coalition and the University of Nevada Center for Program Evaluation are seeking Nevada women over the age of 40 with no personal history of cancer to take a brief survey.

Proceeds from the event will be used to buy books, CDs, DVDs and other educational materials for the bookmobile. WINNEMUCCA - Sixth Judicial District Judge Michael Montero and local attorney Rendal Miller, of Miller Law, are both being honored by Nevada Legal Services, a statewide nonprofit organization that provides free legal services to low income residents.
