Patience Marie Frazier pleaded not guilty to a felony charge of manslaughter and gross misdemeanor charge of concealing birth. The plea came during an arraignment hearing in Sixth Judicial District Court on Tuesday. A five-day jury trial has been set for Jan. 7-11, 2019.

On July 10, Hugo Rivera was convicted of one count of grand larceny, a category C felony and sentenced to 24-60 months in prison. In an arraignment hearing on April 3, Rivera pleaded guilty to the grand larceny charge from February. As a part of the stipulations, his bail was reduced from $30,000 to $5,000 at that time.

John Pugh was convicted of illegal use of a stun gun, a category B felony in a recent Sixth Judicial Court hearing, after pleading no contest to the charge, and was permanently banned from returning to Winnemucca following his 28-72 month prison sentence.
Thomas Slate was recently ordered to complete the Humboldt County Drug Court program as a condition of his reinstated probation, after admitting to five probation violations in Sixth Judicial District Court.
