This Tuesday, citizens of Humboldt County can elect their representatives during the primary election. The vote will be held from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. on June 14. For those interested in the results of the election, the official count will occur in the Humboldt County Courthouse, Meeting Room 201. The results will also be posted to the Nevada Secretary of State’s website, which will be updated live as results are received statewide.
The University of Montana Western named 488 students to the 2016 spring semester dean’s list. Megan Lombardi, from Winnemucca was one. To achieve this honor, students must be enrolled full-time or for 12 semester credits and carry a minimum 3.33 grade point average.
