March 6

In the case of Keith Richard Richardson, charged with DUI w/ One Prior Conviction w/in Last Seven Years. 

Defendant had previously entered a Guilty plea. After reviewing his alcohol evaluation and hearing recommendations, the court ruled as follows: sentenced to 60 days in jail, with 50 days stayed for a period of one year on the condition he serve 10 days, and was given credit for one day time served, leaving a balance of nine days to serve, fined $950, to be paid in $100 monthly payments starting on or before April 1, 2025, DUI School and Victim Impact Panel to be completed by June 6, 2025.

He was ordered to have the Breath Interlock Device for a period of 12 months, and defendant is to continue with the recommendations of the court. The state had previously made motion to dismiss Counts 2 and 3.

A review hearing was ser for August 25, 2025 at 1:15pm. If defendant has completed court orders, hearing will be vacated. Defendant is release from pretrial and all other conditions previously ordered.


In the case of James E. Cochran Jr., charged with Injuring or Tampering w/ Motor Vehicle. DDA Elizabeth Evans amended charge to misdemeanor charge. 

Defendant entered a Guilty plea to amended charge. The court canvassed his plea and accepted the same. DDA is asking for restitution in the amount of $786.63 only, defense agreed. 

The court ruled as follows: fined $640, which is suspended for one year, and restitution in the amount of $786.63, to be paid in $50 monthly payments starting in 6 months.


In the case of Amy Lynne Jernberg, charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. DDA Aaron Russell amended charge to Drugs Not to be Introduced into Interstate Commerce. Defendant entered a Guilty plea to amended charge.

The court canvassed her plea and accepted the same, the court ruled as follows: fined $640, and was given credit for two days time served, leaving a balance of $340, to be paid in $50 monthly payments starting on May 1, 2025, and to be paid in full by December 31, 2025.

 Defendant is now released from pretrial and all conditions.


In the case of Briana Ruelas, charged with Possession of a Controlled substance. Per negotiations on a separate pending case, this case in dismissed.


In the case of Derick James McKinney, charged with Domestic Battery – 1st Offense. 

Defendant entered a Guilty plea. The court canvassed his plea and accepted the same, the court ruled as follows: fined $340, 30 days jail time with 28 days stayed for a period of one year, he is to serve two days and was given credit for two days time served, 48 hours community service, to be completed by May 31, 2025. 

He must also attend 26 sessions of Batterers Intervention Counseling with monthly reports to the court. 


March 7

In the case of Benjamin Arellano Ramirez, charged with, 1: Domestic Battery – 1st Offense, 2: Resisting a Public Officer, 3: Injury to or Destruction of Property. DDA Aaron Russell made motion to dismiss this matter as they were unable to prove beyond a reasonable doubt, and at the request of the alleged victim. 

The court granted the motion and the case was dismissed in open court. Bail Bond is exonerated.


In the case of Sonora Lynn Haye, charged with Abuse, Neglect, or Endangerment of Child. DDA Aaron Russell made motion to dismiss this matter as they were unable to prove beyond a reasonable doubt. 

The court granted the motion and the case was dismissed in open court. Defendant is further released from any conditions listed on order after 48 hour hearing.


In the case of Sonora Lynn Haye, charged with, 1: Domestic Battery – 1st Offense, 2: Resisting a Public Officer. DDA Aaron Russell made motion to dismiss this matter as they were unable to prove beyond a reasonable doubt. 

The court granted the motion and the case was dismissed in open court. Defendant is further released from any conditions listed on order after 48 hour hearing.


In the case of Benjamin Arellano Ramirez, charged with False Imprisonment. DDA Aaron Russell made motion to dismiss this matter as they were unable to prove beyond a reasonable doubt, and at the request of the alleged victim. 

The court granted the motion and the case was dismissed in open court. Bail Bond is exonerated.


March 11

In the case of Kindra Fireston, charged with 1: DUI – 1st Offense, 2: Open Container. DDA Stephen Girardot admitted one item as evidence w/out objection. 

The court ruled as follows: sentenced to 30 days jail time with 28 days stayed for a period of one year, and serve two days jail time and was given credit for one day time served, house arrest for 48 hours, and fined $585, to be paid in $50 monthly payments. DUI School must be completed by June 11, 2025, and Victim Impact Panel to be completed by June 11, 2025. 

She was also ordered to have the Breath Interlock Device for a period of 185 days.


In the case of Brandy Jean Frost, charged with Possession of Narcotics/Paraphernalia. DDA Stephen Girardot recognized the order to show cause and accepted. Defendant entered a No Contest plea. The court canvassed her plea and accepted the same, the court ruled as follows: fined $640, to be paid in $50 monthly payments, starting on April 1, 2025 and to be paid in full by September 31, 2025.


In the case of Michael Fabian Smart, charged with Drive w/ Suspended License. Defendant provided his valid Driver’s License. DDA Stephen Girardot made motion to dismiss.

February 18

Adult Male, age 31, was arrested for a Warrant. Bail $10,000.


February 26

Adult Male, age 40, was arrested for, 1: Grand Larceny, 2: Burglary of a Business, 3: Destruction of Property. Bail $17,500.


Adult Male, age 26, was arrested for, 1: Grand Larceny, 2: Burglary of a Business, 3: Destruction of Property. Bail $17,500.


February 28

Adult Male, was arrested for DUI – 1st Offense. 

 

March 1

Adult Male, age 39, was arrested for, 1: Driving w/ Suspended Driver’s License, 2: Operate Unregistered Vehicle, 3: Proof of Insurance Required. Bail $1,290.
