Battle Mountain boys golf postponed in West Wendover, baseball and softball teams return to action on the road

The Battle Mountain High School boys golf team was scheduled to hit the course in its league debut on Thursday, March 13, at Toana Vista Golf Course in West Wendover.

However, Mother Nature had other ideas and the tournament was canceled due to poor weather.

The Longhorns were able to travel to Reno on Monday, March 10, to get the rust off in a scramble style tournament with other schools.

Weather permitting, Battle Mountain travels to Elko and Ruby View Golf Course on Thursday for a 10 a.m. tee time.

Battle Mountain hosts its tournament on Friday, March 28.
