ELY — The Bureau of Land Management Ely District will not be conducting a firewood sale for 2025.
In previous years, the BLM Ely District has conducted an annual firewood sale offering cord units of mixed pinyon-juniper firewood to the public for $85 per cord.
“There have been numerous positive comments from the community about the sale; however, the district needs to suspend sales this year due to issues with theft,” said District Forester Kellie Dobrescu.
