For the Lowry High School girls basketball team, the answer to that question is a yes.
The Lady Bucks clinched a postseason berth with victories over Spring Creek and Elko this past weekend on Pat Hart Court.
Lowry remained in a tie for first-place at 6-1 in the Northern 3A with Churchill County and the three-time state champion holds the tiebreaker over the Greenwave with the win earlier this year.
The hopes and dreams of a fourth consecutive 3A state title is still alive in a wide-open 3A.
Lowry 74,
Pershing County 38
Lowry started its busy week with a non-conference contest in Lovelock with a 74-38 win over Pershing County.
The Lady Bucks dominated from the opening tip in the afternoon contest, as the Mustangs took a step up in coemption prior to the regional championships it will host.
Britain Backus scored a game-high 33 points to go with six steals, five rebounds and two assists.
Ten players in all scored for Lowry, with Maite Avalos and Isabel Upton each scoring eight points. Avalos added six assists and four rebounds and Uptown had four rebounds.
Khlloe Shorey and Audry Mason scored six apiece and Lexi Hernandez had four points, two rebounds and a steal.
Matti DeLong contributed three points and two steals and Natayla Guizar, Natalee Formby and Maura Braatz each had two points Braatz also had three steals, an assist and rebound.

On Friday night, Spring Creek held a 5-2 advantage early in the first quarter after a 3-pointer, when Lowry decided to score the next 26 points to end any threat of an upset.
Backus netted 15 points in the first half, with teammates DeLong and Braatz adding seven and six, respectfully.
The Lady Bucks led 32-9 at halftime.
Lowry saw a once 25-point lead drop to 16 in the third quarter, when Allison Green gave the Lady Bucks the momentum back with a turn-around jump shot.
Backus finished with 25 points, with Braatz and DeLong adding eight and seven points, respectfully. Guizar finished with six points, Green four, Formby and Shorey three each and Macy Whitted and Mason two each.

Elko 28
If a grind it out, physical game is your cup of tea, Saturday afternoon was your kind of day, as Lowry took on Elko on senior day.
There was little flow to the contest, as the teams combined for 37 fouls including 23 on Lowry. The Indians hot 27 free throws on the day, while Lowry shot just 11.
Leading 6-4 with under four minutes left in the opening quarter, Lowry picked up a pair of free throws from Braatz and six straight points from Backus to lead 14-6 after a quarter of action.
The Lady Bucks used another big run to end the first half, as Formby caught fire with eight quick points and let the Elko defense know about on her final shot. Lowry led 28-11 at halftime.
The flow of the game came to a halt in the third quarter, as Elko shot 13 free throws to Lowry’s two. Elko cut the Lowry lead to 11 but got no closer after that.
Backus outscored Elko by herself with 32 points and Formby had eight. Shorey added three points and Braatz two,
Lowry hosts Churchill County on Friday at 6 p.m. as part of winterfest and Hall of Fame night.
Lowry travels to Fernley on Wednesday, Feb. 5, for a 6 p.m. tip.
