The Pershing County High School girls basketball team added three league wins to their record last week.
Along the way, five of the Mustangs’ players scored in the double digits.
"All three wins were true team wins as all the girls contributed. The girls did a great job putting to work everything we worked on in practice," Coach Lee Houston said.
On Tuesday, Jan. 7, Pershing County hosted Coral Academy (2-7) and beat them 47-25. Riley Harvey scored 12 points, Aaliyah Allen added 11 and Kenya Vaughan had 10.
The Mustangs kept up the good work on Friday against the visiting Incline Highlanders (1-5).

Harvey and Allen scored 15 and 14 points respectively. Kyra Cerini added 10, as Pershing County won 55-17.
This past Saturday, Pershing County went on the road against the Silver Stage Nighthawks (2-9) and beat them 61-27.
In a balanced scoring attack, Harvey scored 20 points, Allen added 18 and Khloe Montes scored 10.
"We were able to go 3-0 this week and used these games as practice to get ready for our road trips against Battle Mountain and West Wendover this weekend. We look forward to avenging our loss to Battle Mountain on Friday," Houston said.
Last month, Pershing County lost 39-29 against visiting Battle Mountain (12-3).

The Mustangs came out on top in the first quarter 16-7 but ran out of steam and battled foul trouble all game with key players.
It will also be Pershing County’s second match against West Wendover (7-7). The Mustangs travel to Wolverine country on Saturday. Last month the Mustangs beat the Wolverines 35-25 in a competitive game in Lovelock.
The Mustangs will be back on their home court on Jan. 21 and 22 against Silver Stage and Lowry (9-4).
It will be Pershing County's first match-up this season against the Lady Bucks who are currently undefeated in the Northern 3A East and trying for their fourth consecutive state title.
Lowry is led by University of Nevada signee Britain Backus, who is leading the state in scoring at 32 points a game.
