Lander County residents will soon have a new transportation option, as Greyhound announces the launch of its service to Battle Mountain. Beginning on Feb. 15, Greyhound buses will make regular stops at Golden Gate in Battle Mountain.
“This will help seniors, residents and anyone needing an alternate, affordable way to travel, including those experiencing car trouble,” said Sean Bakker, Lander County Assistant Manager.
It also offers a convenient way for travelers passing through the area and those needing to reach other Nevada destinations, including Elko.
