The Lowry High School girls golf team and the remainder of the Northern 3A got hit with a dose of nasty weather from Mother Nature last week.
Spring Creek hosted the Northern 3A on Monday, Sept. 16, in cool and wet conditions.
Despite the bad weather, the top of the leaderboard looked the same as it did in the first two tournaments of the year.
Truckee had the top two individual finishers and won the team title with a 383.
Lowry was second at 393, followed by Churchill County (445), South Tahoe (455) and Elko (466).
Allison Mortimeyer was the low medalist with a round of 81 and teammate Alina Gillespie (82) placed second.

Lowry’s Katie Cassinelli and Churchill County’s Charissa Chenoweth tied for third with scores of 88.
The Buckaroos’ Presley Hayes finished fifth, carding a 92 and Lainey Novacek (102) and Jordyn Medicine-Cloud (111) had the final kept scores for Lowry.
Baylie Miller shot 125 and Kailani Rodriguez a 127.
The players moved over to Ruby View Golf Course in Elko on Tuesday, Sept. 17, but play was suspended after about seven holes to bad weather.
Truckee holds the lead in the Northern 3A standings with 22 points, with Lowry one behind at 21 and Churchill County (15.5) is third.
The top three teams from the final regular season standings, qualify for the state championships in Dayton on Oct. 15-16.
Lowry and the Northern 3A played in Dayton on Monday and Fallon on Tuesday. Results were not available at press time.
The regular season concludes on Oct. 7-8 in Truckee and South Tahoe.
