The Lowry High School boys soccer team completed its longest road trip of the season last weekend with matches in West Wendover and Ely.
The Buckaroos were on the Nevada/Utah border on Friday afternoon to play West Wendover and lost 2-1.
All three goals came in the second half. Allan Pacheco put Lowry on the board 14 minutes into the second half after a throw in.
He got the ball off the throw in and blew threw the West Wendover defense. West Wendover scored twice in the final six minutes to get the victory.
On Saturday in Ely, Lowry broke a scoreless tie in the second half with two quick goals on its way to a 3-1 win over White Pine and a season sweep of the Bobcats.
Lowry improved to 7-13-2 overall and 6-5-2 in the Northern 3A East.
Lowry travels to Dayton on Friday and Fernley on Saturday. The regular season finale is Tuesday, Oct. 22, in Fallon.
