Battle Mountain’s Jaylee Jorgenson tied for third at the Northern 2A East Girls Golf Regional Championship in Jackpot on Oct. 12.
Battle Mountain’s Jaylee Jorgenson finished in a tie for third at the Northern 2A East Regional Girls Golf Championship at Jackpot Golf Club on Thursday, Oct. 12.
Jorgensen carded a round of 117 to tie with White Pine’s Brynn Gardner.
White Pine’s Kylee Knudson was the regional champion at 113 and Wells’ Gracie Otto (114) placed fourth.
Battle Mountain’s Juliet LaRiva finished 12th, carding a 139 and Jayci Villanueva 42nd at 142.
Both golfers joined Jorgenson in advancing to the state tournament.
White Pine claimed the team title with a 491 and Wells was second with a 507. Those were the only two team scores.
The NIAA 2A State Championships takes Wednesday and Thursday at Ruby View Golf Course in Elko.
