Legal No TC0192 NOTICE TO BIDDERS For LANDER COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS (OWNER): Sealed bids will be received by the LANDER COUNTY Clerk located at 50 State Route 305, Battle Mountain, Nevada 89820, for performing the work as set forth in the Specifications for the WATER SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS 2024 PROJECT. The bids will be received on or before 3:00 p.m. local time on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at LANDER COUNTY Clerk's Office located at 50 State Route 305, Battle Mountain, Nevada 89820. Bids will be opened and read at 3:05 p.m. local time on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at the office of Public Works. The Lander County Commissioners will consider awarding the contract at the next regularly scheduled Commissioner's Meeting. To assure consideration, all proposals shall be made on the blank form of the proposal attached to these Specifications. The completed forms shall be included in the bound proposal and shall be enclosed and sealed in an envelope which is addressed to LANDER COUNTY CLERK, 50 State Route 305, Battle Mountain, Nevada 89820, and marked "Airport Water System Improvements 2024 Project." Faxed Proposals will not be accepted. The Principal items of work for the Airport Water System Improvements 2024 Project will consist of: BASE BID: 1) Installing site piping including buried piping, motor-operated valves, fittings and two tie-ins to existing 6-inch PVC water main and rehab existing well flowmeter station; 2) Installing 12’ x 24’ booster pumping station building; 3) Installing booster pumping station including pumps, piping, fittings, valves, check valve, flow meter, etc.; 4) Installing two 15,500-gallon, poly water storage tanks; 5) Installing truck fill standpipe; 6) Installing electrical source power and building power, lighting and controls; 7) Installing booster station heating and ventilation. ALTERNATE BID (WELL REHAB): 8) TV Inspection and cleaning of the existing well. 9) Replacement of existing submersible well pump, motor and drop pipe. No proposals will be considered unless accompanied by cashier's check, certified check or bid bonds in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, made payable to the LANDER COUNTY PUBLIC WORKS. No proposal will be accepted from a Contractor who is not licensed for this type of work in accordance with the applicable Nevada Revised Statutes and qualified by the Nevada State Contractor's Board prior to bidding of the job. From there, the meeting will move to the construction site at the airport. The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor irregularities in any bid or in the bidding process. No bidder may withdraw their bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each proposal must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid.
