The Pershing County Mustangs come off their bye week and travel to Dayton this Friday to play the Dust Devils. The following Friday (Oct.18), the Mustangs host West Wendover at 6 p.m.

Lovelock currently stands at 5-0, overall, and 3-0 in the 2A. The last three of their five games have been blowouts against North Tahoe (50-0), Silver Stage (58-0) and Yerington (54-0).

“We’ve had a strong start and are happy about that but we know there is plenty of work to be done in both the regular season and beyond. We have to get better every day,” coach and AD Mike Brooks said.

“We are also proud of the soccer and volleyball teams for putting together great seasons.”
