Leaders from northern Nevada will converge in Winnemucca later this month, bringing together business and government heads from Humboldt and Pershing counties for a high-impact event focused on economic growth and regional development.
The Nevada 95-80 Regional Development Authority will host its annual Futures Economic Forum on Oct. 23, , at the Boys & Girls Club of Winnemucca. Running from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., this fast-paced, half-day event has become essential for business and government leaders in northern Nevada. The forum brings together key stakeholders from Humboldt and Pershing counties—an economic crossroads for the region—to discuss growth, community development, and future opportunities.
The event will focus on strengthening regional business networks, supporting housing development, bolstering local supply chains, and partnering in workforce development. With an emphasis on making this year’s forum particularly relevant to major employers and businesses, Nevada 95-80 Futures aims to expand community capacity to help local businesses thrive.
The forum has consistently served as a springboard for regional growth, facilitating partnerships, and attracting institutional financing, especially for multi-unit housing developments. Attendees can expect to hear from speakers and exhibitors providing timely economic updates and outlooks that are critical for businesses operating along Highway 95 and Interstate 80.
Space for the event is limited, and registration is required. For more information, visit the event's website or contact the Humboldt Development Authority at 775-623-6036.
