The Pershing County JV football team plays early in their season.

The Pershing County High School junior varsity football team ended the year at 4-4, overall, and 1-0 in the league.

“It wasn’t the record they were hoping for but they faced some adversity early and kept battling.  We are so proud of them for that.”

“They improved immensely. They started gaining a lot of traction toward the end of the season,” said AD Mike Brooks. His brother Buzz coaches the team.

The Perishing County JV ended the year by beating Battle Mountain 38-6 and blanking Coral Academy 52-0.
